B.o.B has unleashed his new video for ‘Ray Bands,’ in which the Atlanta rapper is the target of a not-so-well-thought-out heist.
The clip shows the 23-year-old star indulging in flashy cars, beautiful women and all the luxuries of being famous, including diamond encrusted sunglasses. However, when four women plan to rob him — perhaps of his expensive eyewear — Bobby Ray proves he’s always one step ahead of the game.
It’s also important to note a standout line from the song, where the rapper says, “After ‘Strange Clouds,’ I’ma drop my rock album.” B.o.B recently tweeted a pic of himself at his laptop and wrote, “Workin on da next project…,” which makes us believe fans might be hearing something from that lyrical promise sooner than they think.
The ‘Ray Bands’ video premiered on BET’s ’106 and Park’ on Thursday (June 14), and soon became the most talked about thing on Twitter. B.o.B proudly tweeted about the accomplishment by simply writing “BANDZ!!!” with a screenshot of the site’s top trending topics.
Fans will have more to talk about later this month when yet another ‘Strange Clouds’ video arrives. B.o.B and Taylor Swift are currently shooting their vid for ‘Both of Us’ in Nashville, Tenn.
