Well it looks like we’re about to hear the first Michael Jackson album to come out of the record-breaking deal his estate signed with Sony Music posthumously. The massive, 10-project, $250 million deal was signed back in November, and now the beginnings of it are starting to be put into place, according to Rolling Stone.
The first project? A brand new album featuring collaborations from artists he worked with before his death. Those artists include Akon, Ne-Yo, and will.i.am. Supposedly, Jackson had over 100 songs recorded before his death, so there’s no telling how many records or albums are going to be a part of the 10-project deal, but a good place to start is by the very thing that made him famous, his music.
